Stewart Gilligan Griffin is a fictional character from the animated series Family Guy. It was voiced by series creator Seth MacFarlane, and debuted on television, with the rest of the Griffin family, in 15 short minutes on December 20, 1998. Stewie was created and designed by MacFarlane himself, who was asked to make the show pilot for Fox Broadcasting, Based on The Life of Larry and Larry & Steve, MacFarlane's Two Shorts features a middle-aged man named Larry and a thought dog, Steve. After the pilot was given the go-ahead, the Griffin family appeared in the episode "Death Has a Shadow".

A highly precocious child who speaks and acts as an adult, Stewie began the series as a paranoid sociopath, initially obsessed with violence, his mother's killer and world domination. He is the youngest child of Peter and Louis Griffin, Meg's younger brother, and Chris' younger brother. Throughout the duration of the series, and especially after the two arcs of "Stewie Kills Lois" and "Lois Kills Stewie," Stewie's character has been toned down, and has evolved into an eccentric, friendly and flamboyant bastard (something he probably foretold in Stewie Griffin's straight-to-video movie: The Story). which you have not seen).
