My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (pronounced: My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) is an animated series that first aired in 2010 on the U.S. Subscription Channel Network. Hub, this series is based on a previous game and animation series of Hasbro's My Little Pony dolls. This series is developed by Lauren Faust and produced by Hasbro Studios and Studio B Productions. Initially, Faust was the executive producer and creative director for the first series, but through the second season, she became the consulting producer before leaving production on this series in the end. The show follows a devoted unicorn, Twilight Sparkle, who is tasked by her teacher, Princess Celestia, to learn more about friendship in Ponyville. Then Twilight Sparkle becomes best friends with five other ponies; They are Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Each of the fillies represents a different aspect of the subject of friendship, and discovers for themselves that they are the main parts of the Elements of Harmony. In this series, the Foals take on the adventures and help other residents of the town of Ponyville, as they work through the awkward moments of their own friendships.
